It's a thing...

That do ya do when it's July 13,2013 and you're not scheduled to run a Half Marathon (13.1).    (I'm cracking up that I explained a half, but really, two years ago, I had NO idea!!)  Well, ya just make one because on 7.13.2013...  You just HAVE to run 13.1!!!  Especially if a fellow fish is doing the Bryce Canyon half and you're super jealous, but don't think your knee can handle it.  Hence, the Johnson Canyon Lucky 13 was founded....  Ya, it's a thing.  Not only is it a thing, but it was one of the participants first half ever, so that's cool..  right?  Annnddddd all the participants had 13 in their number.  Yes we had bibs.  I'm sure all the Cowboys going down the road wondered...  what the heck.
